Frosty Goes 5k Off Road

Santa says you could win this!!! Join us for the FROSTY 5K on December 19, Saturday, with a start time of 10 AM. This exciting frosty 5k run takes place at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to 'get off the road' and onto the trails with nature. Who knows, maybe we can even spot Frosty running alongside us! Feel free to dress up in any holiday costume, but a little trail experience is required. You can choose to run, jog, hike, or walk the 5K and enjoy a new panorama while embracing the 'Holiday Spirit' as you move along. There will be awards for the top 3 females and top 3 men with the fastest finish! All participants who complete the course will receive a custom-designed finisher's medallion.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit charities such as the Roosevelt Forest Commission, Veteran's Museum, Stratford Library, and others. We also extend our gratitude to the 'paid' volunteers for their time and effort; their support is invaluable to the entrants. Thank you for registering! To maintain the integrity of the race and cover incurred costs, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR DEFERRALS, but your registration will be considered a donation. Happy Christmas and Happy Trails to all, and to all, a good run! This race is part of the Roosevelt Forest Trail Races, including the frosty 50.

Bib/Packet Pickup

Roosevelt Forest, located at 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT, is the perfect setting for the Frosty 5K run. The event will kick off at 10 am, so be sure to pick up your items prior to the race start. The pavilion will serve as the only aid station, so fuel up there as needed. Since the parking lot is small, park 'comfortably' close, and larger vehicles should use the side lot (no RVs allowed). Enjoy holiday cookies, hot chocolate, and more, courtesy of our sponsor, Athletic Brewing Company, as you prepare for the Frosty 5 and Frosty 50 events!

Awards and Medallions

There will be an award for the top three Female and Male Runners at the Frosty 5K run. All finishers of the Frosty 5, which is a 3.1 mile race through Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, CT, will receive a great custom commemorative.

Charities

Numerous diversified charities receive support from the Roosevelt Forest Ultras, including events like the Frosty 5, Frosty 50, and the Frosty 5K run, benefiting organizations such as the Forest Commission, Veterans Museum, and Stratford Library in Roosevelt Forest, Stratford, CT.

Final Note

To maintain the competitive integrity of the frosty 5 event, registration is final. Please understand that there are absolutely no refunds, bib transfers, or race deferrals for any reason. CDC/State/Town requirements are strictly applied. You must be at least 18 years old or have a Parental/Guardian signed waiver. This frosty 5k run is limited to 25 participants and is by race director's invitation only, totaling 50 Peeps; meaning you are not one of 200 to 400 participants, so this is 'your personal race for your personal best' in the frosty 50. Merry Christmas and Happy Trails to All and to All a good run at Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, CT!
