FROSTY FOREST 5K

FYI: After seven races, this eighth race, will be the last running of the Frosty Forest 5K:  Start time is 10 AM. This adventure occurs at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to "get off the road" and onto the trails with nature and who knows, maybe we can see Frosty running, too? Yes, you can dress up in any Holiday costume and run, however a little trail experience is mandatory. You can choose to run, jog, hike or walk the 5K and visit a new panorama with the promise of the "Holiday Spirit " moving along with you. There will be an award for the top 5 overall fastest finishers !. All completing the course will receive a custom designed finisher's medallion.
A portion of the proceeds will include the Roosevelt Forest Commission, Veteran's Museum, Stratford Library and others. Also, many thanks to the "paid" Volunteers for their time and effort; well worth the price in the support of the entrants. They and I thank you for registering. Lastly to support the integrity of the race and cost incurred, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR DEFERRALS, but will be considered a donation. Happy Christmas and Happy Trails to All and to All, a good run !

• Roosevelt Forest is located at GPS address of 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT
• Start time is 10 am
• Pickup prior to race start
• A "chip" bib will register each and every lap.
• The pavilion is the only aid station so fuel-up there, as needed.
• Park "comfortably" close, since the parking lot is small, also larger vehicles to the side lot, (no RV's).
• There will be holiday cookies, hot chocolate and more and sponsoring Athletic Brewing Company

 There will be an award for the top three Female and Male Runners. All 5K (3.1 mile) finishers get a great  custom medallion.

Numerous diversified Charities receive some support from each of the Roosevelt Forest Ultras: Forest Commission, Veterans Museum, and Stratford Library, etc.

• To maintain the competitive integrity of the event, registration is final.
• Please understand that there are absolutely no refunds, bib transfers or race deferrals for any reason. CDC/State/Town requirements are strictly applied. 
• You must be at least 18 years old or have a Parental/Guardian signed waiver.
• This event is limited to 25 participants and race director's invitation only 25, so 50 Peeps; this meaning you are not one of 200 to 400 participants, so this is “your personal race for your personal best”
