ENCHANTED FOREST 6-HOUR ULTRA

FYI: "2025 Virtual Pending!" After seven years, this eighth race, is the last running of the Enchanted Forest 6 Hour Ultra:  Calling all Princesses and Princes! Welcome to the last edition Enchanted Forest 6-Hour Ultra Trail Race!  There will be an initial public offering of 40 participants and then an additional 10 exclusive wailist acceptance by the RD, as this is the last year.  Complete SWAG will be given to those whose bib is 1 to 50. The Enchanted will start at 8:30 am (EST) until  2:30 pm. It is a great race for fall/winter training, including the Forbidden Forest. Do as many miles or hours, as you wish, over single and double track with typical New England trails of roots, rocks 

and rolling hills.  

Race start is 8:30 am. The course will be an irregular loop of 2.3 miles with an elevation each loop of 191 feet over a few rolling hills. Course markings will consist of yellow signs with black arrows and smaller tree markings; no getting lost. 

Excellent ultra hydration and foods, including 5 different pizza choices about noon, like pickle pizza also sponsoring: Athletic Brewing Company! Enchanted's motto:  “Costumes Optional, Smiles are Not”! This is an excellent trail race for a beginner trail runner. Happy trails and safe travels!

• Roosevelt Forest is located at GPS address of 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT
• Pickup starts at 7 am at the pavilion, the single aid station is in the pavilion
• Race start is 8:30 am
• Park "comfortably" close since the parking lot is small, also larger vehicles to the side lot, (no RV's)
• A "chip" bib will register each and every lap

Podium awards are for most miles achieved by the end of the race (2:30 pm) from 1st place overall to 5th place overall and anyone doing over 4 hours will receive an Enchanted Ultra Event  Medallion.

Numerous diversified charities receive some support from each of the Roosevelt Forest Ultras: Forest Commission, Veterans Museum, and Library, etc.  

• To maintain the competitive integrity of the event, registration is final. Please understand that there are absolutely no refunds, bib transfers or race deferrals for any reason. CDC/State/Town requirements are strictly applied. 
• You must be at least 18 years old or have a Parental/Guardian signed waiver. 
• This Ultra is limited to 40 participants and 10 invitation only participants,  meaning you are not one of 200 to 400 participants, so this is “your personal race for your personal best”.  
• Run, jog, hike, walk, or crawl, you have up to 6 hours to do your best! Remember to look for the pixies, trolls and unicorns.
