ENCHANTED FOREST 6-HOUR ULTRA

 The Enchanted 6 Hour will be on Saturday  March 21, 2026  and will start at 8:30 am  until  2:30 pm. It is a great race for training in fact the Enchanted 6 hour feeds training for the Fogotten 9 hour Saturday May 16 which leads to the Centurion 33 hour June 27/28, 2026 for a 100 mile buckle. Do as many miles or hours, as you wish over single and double track with typical New England trails of roots, rocks and rolling hills.

Race start is 8:30 am. The course will be an irregular loop of 2.3 miles with an elevation each loop of 191 feet over a few rolling hills. Course markings will consist of pink flags and white signs; no getting lost. 

Excellent ultra hydration and foods, including 5 different pizza choices about noon, like pickle pizza also sponsoring: Athletic Brewing Company! Enchanted's motto:  “Costumes Optional, Smiles are Not”! This is an excellent trail race for a beginner trail runner. Happy trails and safe travels!

• Roosevelt Forest is located at GPS address of 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT
• Pickup starts at 7 am at the pavilion, the single aid station is in the pavilion
• Race start is 8:30 am
• Park "comfortably" close since the parking lot is small, also larger vehicles to the side lot, (no RV's)
• A "chip" bib will register each and every lap

Podium awards are for most miles achieved by the end of the race (2:30 pm) from 1st place overall to 5th place overall and anyone doing over 4 hours will receive an Enchanted Ultra Event  Medallion.

Numerous diversified charities receive some support from each of the Roosevelt Forest Ultras: Forest Commission, Veterans Museum, and Library, etc.  

• To maintain the competitive integrity of the event, registration is final. Please understand that there are absolutely no refunds, bib transfers or race deferrals for any reason. CDC/State/Town requirements are strictly applied. 
• You must be at least 18 years old or have a Parental/Guardian signed waiver. 
• This Ultra is limited to 40 participants and 10 invitation only participants,  meaning you are not one of 200 to 400 participants, so this is “your personal race for your personal best”.  
• Run, jog, hike, walk, or crawl, you have up to 6 hours to do your best! Remember to look for the pixies, trolls and unicorns.
